Deez Nuts, in the context of American politics, is a satirical candidate concocted by 15-year-old Brady C. Olson of Wallingford, IA, in 2015. While Olson did not invent the term or even popularize it generally, he did make it into a mainstream and long-lasting protest vote, akin to Mickey Mouse, Ronald McDonald, and the very real Vermin Supreme.
